I like music because of the power it holds over people. From bringing complete tranquility, to inciting a riot, to reminding people of better times in their lives. Music is universal. There’s nobody who doesn’t appreciate it in one form or another.
As far as types of music that I like, I’m not really genre-oriented. I like the bands that are perfectly happy knowing that they will probably never achieve monumental success, as well as the bands that have achieved that success and haven’t crumbled under the weight of it like so many tend to do. As for photography, I wish I could give you some profound reason why I like doing it but music and my family are my focal point.
