Living with an ache in my soul…
Damaged, bent, and nearly broken,
I am no longer whole.
A single tear glides
Silently down my cheek.
My heart yearns to be free
From the pain this love has cost me.
My soul is forever changed.
My heart seeks solace from the pain.
