COMFORT ZONE
COMFORT ZONE
Your harsh tone upsets me
It stirs memories from a dreaded past
I hide my thoughts so you can’t see,
but then, I wonder how long it can last.
I know we’re in ‘the comfort zone’
My hidden feelings of unhappiness are very real
Sometimes when you are angry I feel I’m alone,
And you don’t really know how I feel.
I always know when you are mad
when all your anger you must vent,
But then, inside I’m very sad,
and I wonder where our true love went!
I want to hold you, say I LOVE YOU,
and mean the words that I long to say.
Please UNDERSTAND ME as when ‘love’ was new.
then take all of this pain I’m feeling away.
