Newcomer Kori Jean Olsen’s powerful country vocals and nuanced vocal styling clearly comes through when you hear her music. Although small in stature, Kori Jean’s determination and big voice are evident as she can capture a message of loyalty and love with passion and intensity.
With musical influences like Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride and Sugarland, this 20 year-old Utah native began her journey at the age of 9 when she began singing and playing the piano. After moving to Austin, she spent her high school years performing, taking 2nd place in an Austin Idol competition and trying out for American Idol. She is now focused on looking for a more conventional way to expand her musical career.
