PLA Media is proud to welcome singer/songwriter/actress Joy Styles to its roster.  The award-winning artist is a Country singer whose extensive professional background includes theatre, film, television, and dance.

Joy, a Philadelphia native, has appeared in numerous Off-Broadway productions including Little Ham, Eat the Runt, and Freedom Train (tour).  She’s performed and appeared with many acclaimed artists ranging from Leslie Uggams to Phylicia Rashad and Carl Hall.

Joy’s musical influences reflect strongly to the 70′s when it comes to songwriting.  Those among her list of favorites are Dan Fogelburg, Lionel Richie, Gamble and Huff, Jim Croce, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Bobby Braddock, and Brian McKnight.

“Performance wise, I’m influenced by Whitney Houston, Reba, Garth Brooks, Sugarland, Rascal Flatts, Dixie Chicks, and Stevie Wonder,” she says.
