Afresh: How would you describe your music/art/entertainment for the public audience if they have never seen you before?
I would have to say it’s very energetic & I try to get the audience involved as much as possible.

19 years old. Born & raised in the Washington D.C. area. Started Karate at the age of 4.
Afresh: How long have you been performing live or making art?
Since I was a baby.
Afresh: What do you feel distinguishes “an artist” from just a musician?
To me, a musician is someone who plays an instrument & an artist is someone who brings something new to the table.
Afresh: What has been the biggest challenge for you or the group?
Making the right connections to able to pursue my career.
Afresh: You’ve heard of the term “starving artists” before, how do you cope with major obstacles?
I try to work my other jobs as much as possible but put my music first.
Afresh: Do you feel the economic crunch has hurt the industry, or do you have some other promotional tips to help support your music?
The economic crunch has hurt every industry therefore; the music industry is not an exception.
Afresh: Art & Music has an impact on both young and old. Everyone loves a celebrity, so what advice do you have for the youth of today?
Pursue your dream & go for the gold!
Afresh: What does your family think of your performance and do they support you?
Yes, they’ve been supportive since the beginning. I don’t think I’d be where I am now without them.
Afresh: Thinking back, did your family carry on the same musical/artistic interests?
Yes, when my sister was younger she wanted to pursue a career in journalism. Both my grandmothers were both singers.
Afresh: Do you have your own favorite type of music and is it any different from what you play now?
Rock would have to be one of my tops favs but I also love southern rock. No, I actually have started working on some rock material for my next few singles.

I’ve been taking Karate since I was 4 so I’m very involved in the “work out” field. I would love to get certified as a personal trainer.
Afresh: What has been your strong influence to continue performing?
The fans of course. Also, my sister & my niece Jenna. Vaguely I remember my sister saying to not give up. It’s always nice to hear positive feedback which is why I love logging into my myspace.

There’s a few but it’s a big mix whether it comes from the lyrics or the beats. To throw one out there John Mayer.

For awhile when I first started out I was singing originals but now I’m learning a little bit more about writing everyday so right this moment me
Afresh: Where would you like to see yourself within the next five years as an artist?
Successful of course. Making a living of what I love to do!
Afresh: Have you ever had any strange or stalker type fans that you are aware of?
Ha ha, you know, they actually used to be my friends. Two of them have stalked me during my gigs.
Afresh: While getting ready to perform have you ever been interrupted by fans who snuck in to the dressing room/rehearsal?
No
Afresh: What has been the worst nightmare for the group? How did you get through it all?
It wasn’t quite a nightmare but I was singing at the fashion show I was modeling at as well & the dj who was playing the tracks kept playing the wrong songs I was supposed to sing too!
Afresh: What are your up-to-date performance plans? New releases? Tours? News?
Right now, I am working on a few tracks most of my own & hope to have them out by the end of the year. I have also been modeling right now.
Afresh: If you could perform with anyone in the world, either dead or alive who would it be? Why? (Name up to three)
John Mayer- He is such a talented & extraordinary man. I went to see him live & was shocked at how amazing he was.
Incubus – There songs always carry a message that are food for thought. They have a neat way of drawing you in.
Red – They also like incubus have a hidden message. The lead singer has a great voice & is powerful about his messages about God.
