BACKLASH
Some people say the band never gives up because they “love the music”. This is definitely true with the BACKLASH Band from the Topeka KS area. Former Bass Player of Backlash, Mr. Danny Tallent was in a horrible automobile accident in May 2008 claiming the life of his beautiful wife Ashley Tallent while driving home from a Bachlash show. Danny who survived the accident was life watched to Stormont Vail hospital. After weeks turned to months and months turned to years, Danny is learning to stay positive as he takes a step froward each day.
Danny and Ashley wrote music together. Shown in this video is Danny Tallent singing their song a year later at the BACKLASH CD release party in Topeka KS at the Boobie Trap bar.
We hope you will continue to show support for the band, and buy the new CD available through CD baby. Many of the songs are written with heart as each member of the band has their own special contribution. These musicians are truly dedicated and devoted to “making music” happen. They are well-known as the “party band” of the Topeka KS and Nebraska areas as they perform cover band material, but also have their own unique style in their own music. This new CD is a collector’s dream, so by the CD today.
